Yuha Jung, JD, PhD, is an associate attorney with Laura Solomon & Associates, where she advises nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations on legal and regulatory matters. Her legal practice focuses on governance, compliance, and operational issues affecting nonprofit and cultural organizations.
In addition to her legal work, Yuha has a longstanding background in scholarship and research focused on nonprofit law, cultural policy, and governance in the arts and cultural sector. Her academic work explores the legal and structural frameworks that shape nonprofit and cultural institutions, with particular attention to accountability, regulation, and institutional design.
Yuha regularly develops and delivers workshops, educational programs, and presentations for nonprofit leaders, artists, and cultural professionals on topics related to governance, compliance, and the legal environment of nonprofit organizations. Through these engagements, she aims to provide accessible, practical guidance that helps organizations better understand the regulatory landscape in which they operate.
Yuha earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky. She holds a Ph.D. in Art Education from The Pennsylvania State University, a Master of Public Administration from the University of Georgia, a Master’s degree in Museum Studies from Syracuse University, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Korea. She is bilingual in Korean and English.
She is admitted to practice law in Kentucky, California, and Pennsylvania.
